This afternoon we spent some time in the library with Mrs. Shenk-Lara taking a KITE test. This was a test to show us how the software for the state assessment will work. Don't panic, there will be LOTS of practice before we take the REAL test, but right now the state is trying to discover any and all glitches in the software so it will work like a well greased part when we take the ACTUAL test in the spring. We ALL did a GREAT job with this and it was a neat way for ME to see what the format of this test will look like.
Tonight we might have to finish:
-spelling page 57-58
-reading page 143-144
-leveled reader worksheet 71
Tomorrow is also "Give DRUGS a BOOT" day so we can wear CRAZY SOCKS OR BOOTS to school!
Upcoming important dates:
1. Thursday is share time for Lyric Cornejo because she is our PLAYER OF THE WEEK this week!
2. Friday is our AR CUT OFF and the day of our AR CELEBRATION. That day is going to be AWESOME! We will start with show and tell time for everyone who has qualified. Then we will enjoy some delicious caramel apples. For lunch we will feast on some pizza and eat as a class. After lunch and music we will all enjoy our Halloween party! Don't forget to be reading if you do not have 4 points yet! The deadline is approaching and I want EVERYONE to qualify!
Have a GREAT evening!
