1. Listening to the story on our website and then looking at the "Putting Things in Order" activity
2. Taking our SPELLING pretest so we would know what words to be studying
3. Reading the leveled reader, "It's a Fair Swap" and completing the vocabulary worksheet.
*The kiddos can listen to the leveled reader at home by logging in to the PEARSON SUCCESS NET site. They should ALL know how to do this by now. There is an AR test for each leveled reader so after reading it and listening to it they should take the AR test over it.
In MATH we are really working hard to understand how to find the maximum, minimum, range, and median of a set of data. Last week we graphed the information and today we practiced again. Today everyone seemed to better understand it, but we are going to keep working on it so we can ALL master those terms!
In SCIENCE we had a lesson on how to care for our frog. Tomorrow we will vote on a name for him! Our vets did an AMAZING job of caring for him. He has been well fed today!
Tonight please remember to check backpacks and sign agendas. All graded papers need to be cleaned out of the homework folders and left at home. Any work that your child has not finished needs to be completed tonight and returned tomorrow to school. Things they may have to finish up are:
1. The Tree Frog Questions
2. I's a Fair Swap vocabulary paper
3. What About Me sequencing activity
4. Journal page 10
Now, for my 20 CRAZY QUESTIONS for kids:
Hint #1 = I am a thing.
Hint #2 = I need to get charged up every day to do my thing.
Hint #3 = I have been called a public nuisance.
Hint #4 = I have good hearing.
Hint #5 = My ancestors often stayed by your bed or in the kitchen.
*If you can figure out what I am let Mrs. Jenkins know and she will give you a surprise! If no one solves it before tomorrow at 3:15 she will post the next 5 clues! Good Luck!
