After catch up was done, we did learn even more about the layers of the Earth from Ms. Greer and the Exploration Place. She brought colored sand and each group made their own example of layers using the sand. It was really neat to see them try and trick each other and even more exciting to see them use words like "bedrock, lava, and magma"!
We were also able to preview our story, "Volcanoes" and practice our measuring skills in math! Mr. Adams and Mrs. Shenk-Lara ended our day with the character assembly. Kisten Strader was the student chosen from our class. She ALWAYS is very trustworthy and honest! I have been SUPER proud of her this year! Keep it up Kisten.
Tonight they may have to finish:
-a bar graph page
-journal page (we did one side together in class)
-a cursive handwriting practice page
-a measuring practice sheet
*Tomorrow is wear sweats or pj's day because "Staying Drug Free is NO SWEAT for us!"
Have a great evening!
