Tomorrow is a NEW month, which means NEW calendar books, NEW AR goals, NEW Reading STEAM Team challenge, and a NEW math menu!
I LOVE how hard they all are working in here these days! I have really enjoyed the discussions we have had over our Mixed Up Files story and have been very impressed with their pear deck reviews. This has been a higher level story, but they have done an AMAZING job sharing their predictions and their thoughts about what is happening to Claudia and Jamie. We are learning all about similes and metaphors with this book and reviewing what facts and opinions are. I am not sure any of them will run away any time soon, especially after they have learned that Claudia and Jamie have absolutely NO MORE MONEY. Being broke sure doesn't sound too fun!
I do have a building leadership team meeting tomorrow so I will be out of the classroom, but at work non the less. I will be VERY, VERY, VERY excited if Mrs. Renn can leave me an awesome report! I know I can count on all of you to do your BEST job for her. We have a lot to finish up tomorrow so that on Friday we can enjoy our FEBRUARY AR CELEBRATION, our TRIP TO THE MUSEUM, and even a NEAT DR. SEUSS ACTIVITY. There won't be time for messing around or having to finish up Thursday's work, so please get things taken care of for me!
Have a SUPER evening and a GREAT day tomorrow and I will see you all on Friday!
