After this we jumped right into our reading centers. Each group read their leveled reader with me today so I had a chance to hear them ALL read aloud several times. They also worked on putting sentences from the story in order, finishing up on their illustrations for our class Thanksgiving book, and doing a whale scavenger hunt on the computer. We learned a little about Orca Whales, Blue Whales, and Beluga Whales during this research!
In math we reviewed arrays and perimeter again after solving another GET IT TOGETHER activity. Today our activity required building and the use of the words congruent, quadrilateral, and perimeter. The class worked together to solve the challenge and trust me it didn't take them LONG at all!
Tonight they may have to finish:
1. Journal page 81-82
2. Level Reader sheet 67
3. Spelling page morning work sheet
4. Sentence Strip Reading paper
5. Grammar part sentence practice sheet (we cut and glued on this)
6. Daily fix it page
*Make sure to encourage them to be reading! The end of our AR challenge is quickly approaching!
Have a SUPER evening!
